Vietnam Airlines is preparing to meet the anticipated rise in travel demand during the 2025 summer peak season by increasing flight frequencies on two crucial international routes connecting Ho Chi Minh City with Singapore and Bangkok. This strategic move is aimed at enhancing regional connectivity, accommodating more travelers, and offering greater flexibility for passengers traveling within Southeast Asia.
On the Ho Chi Minh City–Singapore route, the national carrier will add an extra flight on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays between June 2 and October 25. With these additional services, the airline will operate a total of 18 flights per week on this busy corridor, providing more options for business travelers, tourists, and transit passengers. The increase in flight frequency reflects the strong demand for travel between these two major Southeast Asian cities and underscores the importance of Singapore as a regional aviation hub.
Similarly, the Ho Chi Minh City–Bangkok route will see a significant enhancement in service capacity. Starting from August 18 and running through October 25, Vietnam Airlines will introduce one additional daily flight, increasing the total daily frequency on this route to five flights. Bangkok, being another key aviation and tourism hub in the region, attracts a large number of travelers for both leisure and business purposes. This expanded service is expected to better meet the surge in passenger volumes during the summer months and facilitate smoother travel connections.
The decision to boost frequencies on these two high-demand routes comes as part of a broader effort to support Vietnam’s growing air traffic and tourism sector. By enhancing connectivity with Singapore and Bangkok, Vietnam Airlines is strengthening its network links with essential hubs that play pivotal roles in international transit and regional commerce. This improved connectivity not only benefits travelers by offering more choices and convenient schedules but also supports economic growth by facilitating easier movement of people and goods.
Frequent flyers will also benefit from special incentives. Members of the airline’s loyalty program can earn a bonus of 1,000 miles when purchasing economy-class tickets directly through Vietnam Airlines’ official ticket offices or authorized agents. This bonus offer is valid for tickets issued until June 30, for travel between June 1 and November 30, with all trips required to be completed by the end of November. This reward program enhancement encourages customer loyalty and provides added value to regular travelers.
Overall, the expansion of flight frequencies combined with enticing fare promotions demonstrates Vietnam Airlines’ commitment to capturing the heightened summer travel demand in 2025. These initiatives not only improve accessibility for travelers but also contribute to Vietnam’s position as a key aviation player in Southeast Asia. By reinforcing connections with strategic hubs such as Singapore and Bangkok and offering competitive pricing on long-haul routes like Australia, Vietnam Airlines is supporting tourism growth, facilitating business activities, and bolstering international travel links throughout the region.
As travel rebounds and demand surges, these measures will help ensure passengers enjoy convenient, affordable, and reliable air service options during the busy summer months and beyond. Vietnam Airlines continues to adapt its network and offerings to meet evolving traveler needs and regional market trends, positioning itself for continued success in the dynamic aviation landscape.
