We have just had the best day. Starting in Port Douglas, with a great tour guide- Justin. He was such a friendly outgoing person. He knew what he was talking about and just so informative about everything! Heading up towards the daintree we had a river cruise which even in the pouring rain was amazing. Then we saw many creeks and had a beautiful picnic lunch, enjoyed a few fantastic rainforest walks. Saw a Cassowary, and a snake along with many other beautiful creatures. Visited Cape tribulation. Then we had an amazing lunch along with a rainforest swim. Saw incredible headlands, lookouts and beaches. And to top the trip off had some lovely ice cream. Highly recommended.

I had one of the best days discovering the Daintree with Daintree wonder tours. Justin was a our guide and he was just so good and knowledgeable. We saw lots of wildlife which Justin spotted out for us. Some of the highlights were Boyd’s Forest Dragon at the beautiful Mossman Gorge, Buff Breasted Paradise Kingfisher, wild Crocodiles whilst on our Daintree river cruise, Flying Fox Bats, Peppermint Insects and of course the ever so mysterious Southern Cassowary which was so cool to see. You get morning tea (with Tim Tams) which is always a bonus, lunch is served at Heritage Lodge in the Daintree, I had the pesto pasta which was yummy and then we had a dip at the natural swimming hole just below the lodge....very nice and refreshing especially on such a hot day. We walked some really nice boardwalks which gave me a really good idea of how big and beautiful the rainforest is. The day was finished off by stopping at the Daintree ice cream company where they make their own ice cream with different tropical fruit flavours, hands down one of the best ice creams ever! All in all a really great day out, especially if you want to learn more about the rainforest

We had an absolutely GREAT day with Justin as our driver and tour guide. He was full of knowledge about flora, fauna, and aboriginal culture. I don't know how he keeps up such a great attitude and enthusiasm for his tour, but it's infectious. He really made us appreciate the interconnectedness of the rain forest in a way that we would have never been able to had we not spent time with him. Bravo!!!

The earlier start time was a bonus as we did keep ahead of the crowds. Our tour guide Justin was passionately knowledgeable & very sharing of his love of the outdoors flora, fauna & cultural balance in this amazing part of the world. We have to rate the tour 10 out of 10. A great balance of walking, eating & discussion. You gain a great insight to the big picture of heritage when traveling with Justin as your guide.

We had a great day in the Daintree forest with Liam as a tour guide. We have explored the forest, the wonderful Mossman gorge, Cape Tribulation and had cruised the river while searching for crocodiles, which we have been lucky enough to see. Had a good lunch and a few surprises from Liam. Totally recommended! Thank you for everything!

This tour was better than expected. Our tour guide Justin was amazing, he has vast knowledge of the Rainforest and of life in general. Although it was breeding time and many animals were not able to be seen, it didn’t matter. Justin made the whole tour exciting and interesting. Lunch at the heritage lodge was fresh as can be, the barramundi was to die for! And the the potato salad was a must! The tour had rainforest walks, able for all ages and finished off with a river cruise. This tour has a lot packed into one day and would highly recommend! I did not feel disappointed at all. Port Douglas is a beautiful place and possibly one of my favourite holiday destinations thus far!

I loved this tour. We had a great guide who was able to answer every question I had. He lives in the area so he had some good stories to share too. The rainforest was beautiful and tranquil. We saw a lot of camouflaged animals. The beach was also stunning but we couldn't go in the water due to stinger season. We had a nice swim in safer waters later. It was technically a long day but it didn't feel that long. We made a lot of stops, had plenty to eat, and chatted in the car. Overall, a great day.

Our tour with Liam was an unbelievable experience. We are nature and animal lovers and this tour delivered all of the above. Liam was incredibly knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna, we felt like we were taking a course we learned so much. It was a day full of experiences as we saw lots of amazing local animals and prehistoric plants. Not to mention there is great food and local organic ice cream for lunch! We definitely recommend this everyone. The daintree rainforest is a beautiful place with incredible biodiversity, try to request Liam if you can!

We did the tour on boxing day and we were blown away by the whole day. Liam was our tour guide and he was absolutely fantastic, so knowledgeable and made the tour very fun as well as educational. We were very impressed to have Christmas cake and tea in the rain forest:)The lunch was amazing and the ice cream was such a fab treat. We got to see crocodiles along the Daintree river which was so cool. I highly recommend this tour. You will not find a better tour. Thank you so much.
